About Our Members' Plastic Surgeons

Welcome to our Members' Plastic Surgeons Board

The following is a list of surgeons our members have used in your state or area and reported good results. Surgeons are listed here by recommendation from our registered members in good standing, at 3 months post op or beyond if they can report they've had a good result and were treated professionally throughout the consult, surgery and recovery process.

Surgeons cannot pay to take these listings out. However, once a surgeon has been submitted by a member in good standing, and meets all criteria, he or she may choose to become a sponsor of BreastHealthOnline.

Because these results are based on other patients' personal opinions of their results, you'll need to evaluate and further check out any surgeons you see for yourself to determine if they are the right surgeon for you. Also, not all surgeons are the right match for all patients. Ask to see pictures of their work. You'll need to know if you can live with their overall end results. This is one of the best ways to evaluate if this is the right surgeon for you. Not all surgeons are alike, and not all are skilled or equally skilled at breast work. A breast reduction requires a different skill-set than a breast augmentation, for example. Be aware of what the doctor's specialty is and ask questions. Of the surgeons listed, one may be more skilled than another as well.

Please note that this list is here for your convenience only. A listing with BreastHealthOnline does not signify that surgery with any surgeon listed here or talked about on our website is 100% risk free or complication free, nor are the results guaranteed; also, we cannot help in determining whether any particular surgeon is the right one for you. It is still recommended that you have a minimum of 3 consults. The final decision is ultimately yours. We are not responsible for the surgeons' work in any way, nor are we responsible for your decision to use any of the physicians we list or discuss on our site.

We do not have every good plastic surgeon around the world on our list, as it takes time to build these lists. Our lists are created by of word of mouth from our own members' experiences, and culling this information from our members is very labor intensive. If a plastic surgeon you are considering using is not listed on here, it doesn't necessarily mean he or she is not good, but we recommend investigating any surgeon completely.

When considering a plastic surgeon for yourself, it's imperative that the doctor be board-certified. By choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon, you can be sure that the doctor has graduated from an accredited medical school.

American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)

You can also check out the American Society of Plastic Surgeons website for more surgeons near you, all of which are board certified:

You'll need to evaluate and further check out any surgeon you see for yourself. We suggest that you evaluate your overall consult and office experience during your visit. Remember, you are also hiring an office staff when you hire a plastic surgeon. If the office staff does not treat you well or if they are rude, impatient, or unprofessional, find another surgeon. You will easily be spending more time with the office staff than the physician. Make sure you can live with the entire package.

It is recommended to have at least three consults, as this will give you good perspective and put you in a better position to select the right surgeon for yourself. Please remember that not all plastic surgeons are skilled at breast work.

Also, each state has a board for physicians and surgeons. These state boards are where complaints are filed against physicians and surgeons. You can also check with the American Medical Association (AMA). You can contact your local office of your state representative or state senator or congressman and request their help. They should be able to get the info that you want or give you website and/or telephone number and address. There should not be a charge if you go through one of these offices.

The following websites can help you find out whether a doctor you are considering has had any problems, when they were board-certified, as well as other information that might be helpful to you. However, please note that some or all of these sites may charge for access or information.

The next site lists the Medical Examiners Boards in every state alphabetically. It includes the address, phone numbers, and website addresses for the state's Medical Examiners Board if one is available. This would be a great place to look if you are in need of more information on a plastic surgeon, or any other physician for that matter. Check out the public information area.

Your health and life are top priority, and it is your responsibility to investigate whether a doctor has had any disciplinary actions taken against him or her, and to find out if any current investigations are taking place. We cannot keep up on all the changes for all the doctors that members have reported to us as having good results. You owe it to yourself to check out any surgeon fully yourself.

We hope that helps. All our best to you in your breast health journey.
