Nipple Sensation and Breast Feeding

If I lose nipple sensation after my breast surgery does that affect my ability to breast feed?

Studies performed regarding breast feeding after breast reduction have shown little to no problems.  Only about 70% of the general female population is able to breast feed effectively, and breast reduction may lower this possibility to around 60%.  There are multiple other triggers to the let-down of breast milk besides direct nipple stimulation.
