Determining Your Breast Size
When determining what size you'd like to achieve, photos are a great source for a good visualization.
Your doctor may have various implant sizers that you can insert in a surgical bra that you can try on. There is computer imaging where you can see results on the screen.
You can also perform the "Baggie Trick" at home. Fill up a zip lock bag or the end of panty hose with rice or birdseed. Place in a sports bra to flatten them. In order to accomplish the same appearance; add 10 - 15% to get the same look after surgery, especially if you get sub muscular placement. For example, if you like the look of 300cc, you'll need approximately 330 -345cc at the time of surgery.
Measuring Implant Weight:
* 1 oz = 30cc
* cc = 1 milliliter (ml)
* 250ml = 1 cup
* 500ml = 2 cups (1 pint)
This does not substitute an experienced surgeon's advice, but only to act as a visual aid for you.
To Determine Your Band Size:
(1) To find your band size, measure around your ribcage right under the breasts and add 5"
or
(2) Measure snugly around your ribcage right under the breast and add 5" for an odd measurement or 4" for an even measurement.
To Determine Your Cup Size:
Stand up straight, measure from the armpit where the breast ends to the middle of the cleavage. Measure around the fullest part of the breast, which is usually over the nipple. Cup size:
