Hi Ladies, Just a little update, 3 months since op, the girls are looking good, perky and up where no other 44 year olds bust has any right to be (LOL) I have no pain now, scars feel soft and are settling down, almost invisible around my nipples but still pink underneath and around t-junction which took longer to heal, overall they look very good, one is slightly lower than the other and slightly bigger than the other, but im ultra critical and its early days and no one is perfect) Have recently gotten back to underwires, have had on a 32dd but feel more comfortable width wise in a 34d which fits lovely, I feel that if I was smaller I would have a lot of trouble finding bras to fit, as the width of the breast would be the same but I wouldnt be able to fill out the rest of the cup. These PS's really do know what they are doing. Started to do a bit of exercise to try and match up the rest of my body to my new perky girls, and get rid of the fat belly I can now see all too clearly. I'm still pretty big (only 5ft1 size 10/12) and a 34D, but now can find my waist and get clothes to fit instead of drowning me. Its weird, but, I can imagine that some people will think my bust looks bigger rather than smaller, if they notice anything different about me at all. Having complained about being big I would just like to point out that they are now smaller and more perky than they were in my early 20's, (I dug up some holiday photos) So I honestly am thrilled with the results. Its a strange thing, only you know how much discomfort you feel and just how unhappy you are, not even your Mum or partner will fully understand, and most other people will just think you are mad. I told only my family and close friends and im happy to keep it that way, no one else needs to know. Anyway, Hope all you ladies are well. Take care xxx -- |

Thankyou for this wonderful post. I'm 5 weeks OTR and can relate to everything you're saying. In particular, the wide breast thing....I tried on a few bras in M and S during the week, interesting! Lots of the time the cup fits, but the 'underneath' doesn't - the underwires or seams finish short of my cleavage. Although I think I'd like to be smaller, I have to accept that I have such a wide breast that finding a bra that sits underneath AND fills the cup would have been really difficult if my PS had made me any smaller. I didn't understand this concept until now. Time will tell! Delighted it's all worked out so well for you. Kath X -- |
